Our Teachers
KATE OSLER
Kate has been practicing and studying yoga for over 15 years, beginning with a dedicated practice in Kundalini Yoga. Her connection and passion for the practice of yoga was instant and she has been a dedicated practitioner ever since, exploring Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Yoga Nidra. Kate completed her 200 hour teacher training in Vinyasa through Illumina Yoga with Johanna Bell in 2016. She is a certified Trauma Informed Teacher and has also studied Yoga for Addiction Recovery, Yoga Nidra, and Restorative Yoga.
She integrates her passion for the practice into her classes through the exploration of breath, intention, and mindfulness. More recently, she has dedicated most of her teaching hours to Sea Change Yoga and does not offer any public classes. She has taught Sea Change classes at the Androscoggin County Jail, Lake Auburn Towne House, Southern Maine Re-entry Center, Esther Residence, Portland Recovery Community Center and is currently teaching in Windham at the Maine Correctional Center.
In addition to teaching, Kate also serves on the Sea Change Yoga Development Committee, and is in charge of our Graphic Design and Social Media. She also works for LB Kitchen and is part of the Good Medicine Collective in Portland.
